Created with powerful Elven High Magic from eight ancient Shadowtop trees deep in the woodlands of Cormanthor, far from any other elven communities and hidden by a small but quite powerful mythal. The tower consists of one central structure surrounded by seven smaller ones. The seven smaller structures are circular platforms placed 70 feet off the ground around the trunk of an ancient Shadowtop tree. Each of these small houses serves as a private retreat for one of the elven diplomats, and each was connected to a circular platform atop the central structure. This saucer-shaped central structure was formed out of the largest Shadowtop tree in the region, and it straddled the trunk of the giant at a point 70 feet off the ground. A narrow staircase wound down the trunk to provide ground access to the tower.
The large, upper platform is open to the elements, but it has a thin roof of tightly interwoven branches and leaves to provide some shelter against rain. Few Elves, however, worry over much on the matter. Long ago Elven diplomats would gather here to watch the woods, sunrises, sunsets, and similar displays of nature's greatness. From the edges of the platform eight sloping ramps arch down over the slanting roof of the main structure below to connect to eight separate balconies, each of which anchors the individual bridges to the separate housing areas.
The center of the upper platform is taken up by a raised section, around which descends a circular staircase that leads to the interior portion of the main tower.

Kal'esril Melarn leads the others to the top level, circling as if there were yet more stairs. And, in fact, there is another short set leading to the top of the central platform. The Drow warrior doesn't climb them however, he merely takes three of the steps before pausing and turning to address his companions. "And my recommendations. When the ceremony is called, which won't be for a day yet, I recommend coming prepared for hard travel. Armor, if that is your way..." He glances briefly toward Ilyrana before continuing. "weapons, camping gear, etc."
"I do not foresee much in the way of primitive accommodations on the way to our first objective, we should be able to reach the port in a single day, then a couple of days on the ship only to dock at the edge of our destination city. But still, best we don't have to completely gear ourselves out on short notice. My fellow soldier will agree, I'm sure. Preparedness will save lives in the coming months, and when we do get to be outdoors I like not having to cover for the unprepared."
He steps down, pointing in three directions consecutively. "Avariel, Star, Wild. Those three sets of stairs will lead you to your respective domiciles. That one," He points at another. "will lead you to mine. I tend to take revery around noon as I never lowered myself to accustoming my eyes to the day star, but other wise I will be present or about. Any questions?"

Lysan glances toward where Kal gestured for the Avariel quarters, curious as to how they might have been constructed, supposedly for ambassadors' comforts. Then he turns back to Kal with questions.
"I have two questions, actually. One: For provisions for the trip such as food, water, etc. Shall we attempt to gear up here, or fill that out in the town, assuming the vendors there will take our coin? Which they should if my experiences with vendors is anything to go by." He laughs lightly at his own jest. "and two: Has anyone found a library here that still contains readable material? Experience is a great way to gain knowledge, but there are other methods that I enjoy as well."

After noting the direction mentally Auroa says "I have many questions but one for now will do is there a temple in this tower?" the lilac form stands statue still awaiting the answer.

Ilyrana followed to the platform with the others, Nikxor perched contentedly on her shoulder. As he discussed and avised them to make preparations, the young wild elf caught his eyes briefly going to her when he mentioned armor, but she didn't dwell on it. She was busy going over what she already had in her pack. Wild Elves were often in the wilderness, and this trip had been no exception. There would be very little she'd need to gather in the next day, which was a mixed blessing. It meant she'd have fewer things to distact her from her thoughts and annoyance at this new unpredicted situation. As he directed them to their dwellings, she arched a brow and gave him a subtle narrowing of her eyes. They had names, and had all just exchanged them as a pleasantry. Why revert to race now again? Perhaps he had forgotten.
Neither of the others seemed to notice, so that too was let go. No use getting worked up over every little slight or complication. She turned and moved towards the saircase that he'd indicated was for her, turning back only when Auroa and Lysan had asked questions. Apparently, there was still business to discuss and she'd best be there for it. One never knew when something would be interesting and worth hearing. The library did interest her slightly, though for different reasons maybe.
"I'm sure this place will have what we might need to at least get us to the dock if not our first destination ration wise. I might require things, but I will look over my supplies and make my preparations Thank you again for the hospitality."

Kal responds to Lysan, showing the barest hint of a smile. He was starting to like his fellow soldiers practicality. "What ever provisions you foresee needing can be provided, or some equivalent if we don't have exactly what you're looking for. I have found over my last century that what my people consider food doesn't always equate with the tastes of even other elves, so do be specific when you pass along your requirements. The vendors in the area around my forest nation have long come to the realization that not only should they take our coin, but should largely ignore the bits of oddness that march out of our woods. The merchants beyond our realms can easily be taught the same lesson in a few short moments." His smile is all pleasantness at this point.
"The library entrance is directly outward from the central council room, between the two sets of stairs on the main level. Essentially go back down these stairs and look to your right at the concave wall. It might take you a moment, but the doors are there. Most of the texts are ancient, but we have switched out several of the more valuable magical texts for relevant texts on the surrounding nations of our day." The Drow warrior then turns to Auroa. "There is a door beside the stairs that lead all the way to the ground. If you go through that door you will be in a short hallway that turns right. The door to the shrine is in the wall that forces one to take the turn. You will find a statue to every member of the Seldarine except Eilistraee there in."
He turns his attention to Ilyrana, in the back of the little group watching everybody as they went through the situation. His eyes narrow slightly, though the feature is matched with a small smile on his lips. The Sorceress wasn't as rustic as her appearance or race let on, she let nobody at her back and kept everyone in her line of sight when ever possible. "If you should face any trouble gaining the things you need, just let me know. We are pleased that you have found our hospitality to your liking, my people have never had much use for the behavior before and we feared we might not be able to quite pull it off yet. Until we are together again my new friends, rest well and enjoy what the tower has to offer."
With that the Drow steps down from the stairs and moves toward the ramp that he had indicated was his own.

When the younger members of the various nations depart to their individual apartments they will discover why the Drow had referred to the locations by their relevant sub-race. Each location is perfectly patterned for the group in question, appealing to all senses. When enough time has passed, and all of the individuals needs have been met, the summons comes for them all to attend a small ceremony in the central meeting chamber.
